The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has made a significant announcement regarding the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023. The CAT 2023 admit card, which was originally slated for release on October 25, 2023 will now be available for download on November 7, 2023. The candidates can access the admit card through their official website iimcat.ac.in using their designated User ID and Password.
Candidates gearing up for CAT 2023 should note that the examination is set to take place November 26, 2023. The test will be conducted in three sessions, covering sections on verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning, and quantitative ability, respectively. The total duration of the test will be 120 minutes with a dedicated 40 minutes allotted to each section. The candidates will need to navigate a set of 66 multiple choice questions within this timeframe.
This year has witnessed an impressive 30 percent surge in registrations compared to the previous year, with an astounding 3.3 lakh aspirants vying for coveted spots in IIMs through the CAT 2023 examination.
In terms of the marking scheme, candidates will earn three marks for every correct response, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. This year's CAT 2023 scores will hold sway over admissions to 1,164 esteemed institutes offering postgraduate management programmes.
