The CAT 2022 registration procedure is started by the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, on 3 August 2022. The official CAT 2022 website, iimcat.ac.in, has activated the link to fill out and submit the online application form. The last date to register for CAT is 14 September 2022.
The registration fee decided by the official authorities for students belonging to the general category is INR 2300 and INR 1150 for students belonging to the reserved category. The final CAT Examination will be held on 7 November 2022.
Applicants from the General/ EWS/ NC-OBC categories who are applying for the CAT entrance exam in 2022 must have at least 50% in their Bachelor's degree, while the requirement is only 45% for candidates from the SC/ ST/ PwD categories.
How to apply for CAT 2023?
Step 1: Visit the official website of CAT 2022
Step 2: On the homepage, find and click on ‘Register’
Step 3: Fill in the registration form with all the required information
Step 4: On your registered email/phone number, you will receive your CAT Login credentials
Step 5: Log in to the portal with your credentials
Step 6: Fill out the CAT application form and upload the documents required
Step 7: Pay the application fee and submit the application form
Step 8: Download the application as a PDF and take a printout as well for future reference
A nationwide total of 150 cities will host the CAT exam in 2022. Similar to last year, IIM Bangalore will provide three 2-hour slots for the CAT entrance exam in 2022: slot 1 from 8:30 am to 10:30 noon, slot 2 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and slot 3 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
20 IIMs and more than 100 premier MBA institutions, including MDI Gurgaon, FMS Delhi, IIT Delhi, IIT Mumbai, SPJIMR, GIM Goa, Great Lakes, FORE, IMT Ghaziabad, TAPMI, MICA, etc., will accept the CAT 2022 marks. Candidates are admitted to management programmes such as the MBA, PGDM, PGPM, Executive MBA, and Fellowship based on their CAT exam results.
