100 Labs will be opened at different engineering colleges of the country for developing 5G applications to open gates to new opportunities, said the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman amid her Budget 2023 speech. 30 skill Indian international centres will also be opened for developing the skills of youth.
The Finance Minister further even declared that 157 new nursing colleges will be set up in the core locations of the country. As far as the establishment of 100 labs is considered, the minister confirmed that the leading industry players will partner for holding the inter-disciplinary research, and develop cutting-edge applications & scalable problem solutions in the different areas. Furthermore, new age courses will also be launched in areas of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
Moreover, these 100 labs for developing applications using 5G services will be set up in engineering institutions for realising the new range of business models, opportunities, and other job potential.
