The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has initiated the registration process for the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE 2024) for prospective BTech students. Aspiring candidates can apply for SRMJEEE 2024 through the official website, srmist.edu.in.

Phased Approach to SRMJEEE 2024:

The upcoming SRMJEEE 2024 will be conducted in two phases. The application window for phase 1 remains open until April 13. The same will be held in remote protected online mode on April 19, 20 and 21 next year. Meanwhile, phase 2 applications will be accepted until June 15, with the examination set to take place on June 21, 22, and 23 in 2024.

Fee Structure:

Candidates are required to submit a non-refundable application fee of ₹1,200 for each phase of SRMJEEE 2024. The examination is conducted for admission to BTech programs across SRMIST campuses in Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Vadapalani, and Tiruchirappalli, as well as SRM University locations in Sonepat, Haryana, and Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria for SRMJEEE 2024 Applicants:

Applicants must have successfully completed or be in the process of completing their Class 12 board exams, securing a minimum of 60% aggregate in physics, mathematics, and chemistry, or other specified subjects like biotechnology, biology, computer science, information technology, informatics practices, engineering graphics, botany, and zoology.

Syllabus Highlights:

Physics

The SRMJEEE 2024 physics section will encompass fundamental topics such as units and measurement, gravitation, mechanics of solids and fluids, electrostatics, and more.

Chemistry

The chemistry segment will delve into areas like solutions, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, surface chemistry, and various elements and compounds.

Mathematics

Mathematics syllabus covers a range of chapters, including sets, relations, functions, complex numbers, matrices, determinants, combinatorics, algebra, calculus, geometry, vectors, statistics, probability, and trigonometry.
