The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has announced the introduction of two distinct options for the Mathematics exam in the upcoming 10th Grade Board Exams in 2023.
Students preparing for the Class 10 board examinations now have the choice between the Basic Mathematics and Standard Mathematics papers. This decision was made with careful consideration of the subject's difficulty level and the interests of the students, as confirmed by Board Chairman Dr. V.P. Yadav and Board Secretary Ms. Jyoti Mittal.
It's important to note that students who opt for the Basic Mathematics option will not be eligible to pursue mathematics in their 11th grade. Instead, they will need to reappear for the Standard Mathematics exam in July 2024 if they wish to continue studying mathematics in the 11th grade. In contrast, students who choose the Standard Mathematics paper can seamlessly continue with mathematics in their 11th grade.
Furthermore, the registration process for both Class 10 and Class 12 commenced on October 24, 2023, and will remain open until November 14, 2023. The Secondary and Senior Secondary Board examinations are scheduled to be held in March 2024.
