The BSE International Finance Olympiad (BIFO) -- organised by BSE Institute Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) -- is back with its 9th edition, aiming to create awareness about financial literacy among students.
BIFO is a nationally recognized, innovative and instructive financial quiz tournament that assists students in understanding more about the financial world through exploration, discovery and learning.
The Olympiad also helps students develop analytical and problem-solving skills that will be useful in their future careers. BIFO’s goal is to promote commerce and financial development, as well as its application among the youth.
Ambarish Datta, MD and CEO of BSE Institute Ltd, extolled the virtues of the event, saying, “We have been using an innovative approach to help school children develop financial skills by holding an international school-level financial Olympiad for kids in high school. We would be delighted if your school’s kids could take part in this interesting competition.”
Students from classes IX, X, XI and XII from any discipline are invited to attend and learn money management skills that will benefit their job prospects greatly. The three-staged Olympiad offers a wide range of prizes and accolades as well.
