The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is set to announce the scores of candidates who appeared in the School Teacher Recruitment Exam (BPSC TRE 2023) today, October 27. Candidates can access their scorecards by logging into their dashboards on onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in, as per the commission's official notice.
In addition to this, on October 26, the commission revealed the cut-off marks and cut-off dates for all subjects in the School Teacher recruitment examination. Aspirants can check this list on bpsc.bih.nic.in.
BPSC Chairman Atul Prasad indicated that supplementary results might be announced if vacancies remain. He explained, "When we are dealing with such large numbers as in TRE, multi-layer filtering is needed to weed out undeserving candidates. Any vacancy arising out of this filtering will be filled by one or more supplementary results."
Following the release of results, appointment letters will be issued to successful candidates, with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar attending the distribution ceremony slated for November 2.
The written examination for this recruitment drive took place from August 24 to August 26, in two shifts from 10 am to 12 noon and from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Final answer keys were published on October 15, 2023, and merit lists, along with district-wise allotment lists, were subsequently disclosed.
This massive recruitment endeavour aims to fill a total of 1,70,461 school teacher vacancies in Bihar.
