The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) extended the registration deadline for the posts of head teacher, headmaster to 10 April 2024. Eligible and interested candidates can fill in the BPSC headmaster, head teacher application form 2024 through the official website- bpsc.bih.nic.in.

The BPSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 6,061 headmasters and 40,247 head teachers for primary schools under the state's education department. The vacant posts of Head Teacher will be filled in Primary School and the vacant posts of Head Master will be filled in Higher Secondary Schools. Earlier, the deadline to submit the online application form was till 2 April.

To be eligible, applicants should have a postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks. Additionally, candidates should have a valid score in the Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). For further details, candidates are advised to visit the official website.

2. On the homepage, click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab
3. Click on the head teacher headmaster application link available
4. Fill in the registration form and generate the login credentials
5. Fill in the application form and upload the necessary documents
6. Download and take a printout of the application form for future reference
