BHU UG 2024 Seat Allotment Result Round 1 Cut-Off to be Released; How to Check & Details

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has announced the Round 1 seat allotment results for undergraduate (UG) admissions under the BHU UG 2024 counselling process. The cut-off list was released on August 17, 2024. Candidates who have registered for the counselling can check the cut-off and seat allotment results on the official website at bhu.ac.in.

According to the official notice, the link to access the seat allotment list was scheduled to be activated on August 17 at 6PM. However, there was no immediate confirmation regarding the activation time on the official portal.

Steps to Check BHU UG 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result (once released)

1. Visit the official website at bhucuet.samarth.edu.in.
2. Click on the BHU UG 2024 Round 1 seat allotment result link available on the homepage.
3. Enter the candidate’s login details (User ID and Password) and submit. The seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen.
4. Review and download the page for future reference.
5. Download and save a hard copy for future use.

The official notification advises all applicants to log in using their credentials to check their allotment status. It states, “All allocated students will get the payment link. Allocated students must follow the payment deadline as mentioned above, failing which their candidature shall be cancelled and will be out from subsequent rounds of allocation.”

Candidates who have secured a seat in the first round must submit the admission fee online by August 20, 2024 (11.59PM). If a candidate’s seat is upgraded in subsequent rounds, the fee adjustment process will be managed accordingly.

The university has clarified that the merit list is determined using scores provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA) based on the programme-specific eligibility criteria.
