Assam UG 2023 Admission: Application window ends today; know how to apply here

The online application process for admission to undergraduate programmes in all colleges affiliated with Gauhati University, Dibrugarh University and Booland University ends today, 28 June 2023. All applications were to be submitted through the Assam Higher Education Admission portal, as notified by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Assam, on 17 June 2023.

Students submitting their applications through the portal did not have to pay any application fees. The merit list for admission would be prepared by the respective universities or colleges offering undergraduate programmes and will be published on their own websites. Publication of merit lists will be followed by offline admission of the students.

The first merit list is scheduled to be published on 4 July, and admission for the same will end on 7 July 2023. The second and third merit lists will be published on 8 and 12 July, and their corresponding admissions will continue till 11 July and 15 July 2023, respectively. Seats which will remain vacant after the third round of admissions will be filled by spot admission on 17 and 18 July 2023.

2. Click on ‘New Registration’
3. Fill in basic details to complete registration
4. Log in again with the provided credentials
5. Fill in the detailed application form
6. Upload relevant documents
7. Review the application form and submit
8. Keep a hardcopy of the application form for future reference
