11,324 applicants have been tentatively chosen for grade III positions across 47 Assam government ministries. The final merit list for 11,510 positions was generated based on the combined scores of the written and skill examinations, and 11,324 individuals were judged to be successful and provisionally selected for appointment, according to Ashish Bhutani, chairman of the State Level Recruitment Commission.
In response to an advertisement that was placed in March 2022, the Commission received requests from 47 departments. A total of 9,21,634 online applications were submitted, and 8,28,860 of these applicants showed up for the written test.
Written exams were given for three levels of qualifications: graduate level (for positions where a bachelor's degree or bachelor's degree with computer knowledge is the minimum requirement), HSSLC level (for positions requiring an HSSLC or HSSLC in Science), and HSLC level (for positions requiring a driver's licence).
Shortlisted candidates were contacted for the computer skill test, stenography skill test, or driving skill test after the written exam, according to Bhutani. The results for the 14,281 Grade IV positions open across several departments, according to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's tweet, would be made public on Thursday.
