The Assam Government on Sunday announced the results of Grade 3 jobs in various departments that were held to recruit nearly 11,000 employees. The state government has decided to refund the fees of those candidates who were unsuccessful in qualifying for the exam.
Around twice the number of candidates have been selected for the mentioned vacant posts and will sit for the second round of interview. Almost 8-10 lakh candidates have appeared for the written test for Grade 3 state government posts.
Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the state government will keep the fees of successful candidates only. He added, “For all those who could not pass the written examination, we will refund the fees they paid to appear in the exam. It will be done through the bank accounts that they used during the fee payment.”
Grade 3 examinations of the state government were held on 21 and 28 August, 2022. A total of 26,422 vacant posts were out, out of which 13,300 vacant posts were of Grade 3 and 13,341 vacant posts were of Grade 4.
