SLRC Assam Recruitment 2023: Application begins soon for Class III and Class IV Jobs

The State Level Recruitment Commission of Assam has issued notifications for the recruitment to 7,600 class III posts and nearly 5000 Class IV posts in the Assam Government. Candidates need to have a registration number in the employment exchange of the state of Assam. The selected candidates would be recruited in various departments/establishments in the Government of Assam.

The details of the vacancies including particulars of the pay band and grade pay etc shall be published ahead of the examination along with details of the reservation.

The application process will start from November 10 and will continue till December 29.

Educational qualifications

Here are the details of the educational qualifications for various Class-III posts

Category I - Here three types of qualifications are required at Bachelor’s Level

Bachelor’s Degree

or

Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum six months duration from a recognised institute.

Or,

Bachelor's Degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration and Stenography Certificate from recognized Institute.

Or,

Bachelor's Degree in Library Science with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration from a recognized Institute.

Category II - HSSLC Level

HSSLC or equivalent Examination passed

HSSLC (Science) Examination passed

Category III - HSLC Level

HSSLC (Science) Examination passed HSLC or equivalent Examination passed with valid LMV Driving Licence

Here are the details of the educational qualifications for various Class-IV posts

HSLC (CIlass Ten) or equivalent examination passed

Or,

HSLC (Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed along with ITI pass certificate in the trade of wireman/electrician/fitter/welder/machinist/Electronics Mechanic from Govt. of Assam approved Institute.

Or,

Read up to Class-VlI

The maximum eligibility qualification for all Class-IV posts shall be HSSLC (Class-12)) or equivalent examination passed and those who have educational qualification higher than this maximum eligibility educational qualification on the date of application shall not be eligible to apply for any of the posts or category of posts mentioned above.

Age Limit

In order to apply for the positions, a candidate must be above the age of 18 years but less than 40 years of age.

However SC/ST candidates will be provided age relaxation of 5 years while OBC/MOBC candidates will be provided age relaxation of 3 years.

Two years for ex-servicemen

And

10 years for PwBD candidates.

Application Fee

No candidate will have to pay any fee for submitting their application.

Candidates will have to apply through online mode only. Applications submitted through any mode other than online will not be entertained.
