ARCH College of Design & Business, Jaipur, is going to organise “Pink City Design Confluence (PCDC) 2022” from March 12 to March 16, 2022.
The international confluence seeks to create an interface between academia and industry to discuss how design-technology education can be leveraged to support emerging economies.
Participants will come from more than 10 countries to take part in various events and see industry experts and researchers sharing their experience and insights. The first three days of the confluence would see panel discussions and a fashion show at Amer Fort, Jaipur, in association with the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF).
As a prelude and a lead-up to the international event, ARCH College of Design & Business earlier hosted 16 online discussion panels and four dialogue series where practitioners and academicians from India and abroad addressed problems faced by today’s world and how design education could resolve them.
Over 40 research papers and 30 entries for Design Awards’22 have already been submitted by national and international participants from the fields of design education, science & technology, corporates, creative industries and linked professions.
At PCDC 2022, a jury panel will select top entries from among the prototypes presented by students. The best entries will get upto Rs 60,000 and the best ideas will be registered with i-Start Rajasthan.
