The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced the date for the APSC CCE Prelims 2024 exam, inviting candidates interested in the Combined Competitive (Prelim) exam 2023 to check the official notice on the APSC website at apsc.nic.in.
According to the announcement, the Combined Competitive (Prelim) exam 2023 is scheduled for March 17, 2023, to be held across 32 district headquarters. The preliminary examination will consist of two papers of objective-type multiple-choice questions, each lasting two hours. Paper I will cover General Studies I, while Paper II will focus on General Studies II, with a total mark allocation of 400 and a duration of 4 hours. It must further be noted that negative marking will be applicable for incorrect responses.
Candidates must hereby also note that marks obtained in the preliminary examination by the qualified ones for admission to the main examination will not contribute to the final merit order.
The status of applications and e-admission certificates for the examination will be available on the website anytime soon, with no hard copies dispatched.
A total of 235 vacancies across various state government departments will be filled through APSC CCE 2023. The registration window was open from January 12 to February 6, 2024.
