TN TRB Announces 2,222 Teacher Vacancies for 2023, Application Window Opens Nov 1

The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) is set to open the gates for applications, offering 2,222 positions for Graduate Teachers and Block Resource Teacher Educators (BRTE) in 2023. Starting from November 1, 2023 eligible candidates can submit their applications until November 30, 2023, 5 PM through the official website, trb.tn.gov.in.

Key Highlights:

• Designation: Graduate Teachers/ Block Resource Teacher Educators (BRTE)

• Salary Range: ₹36,400 - ₹1,15,700 (Level-16)

• Scheduled Exam Date: January 7, 2024

• Candidates belonging to the General category, aged not more than 53 years, and those belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class Muslims, Backward Classes, MBC/DNC, and DW categories, aged not more than 58 years as of July 1, 2023, are eligible to apply for these positions.

Applicants must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

1. Graduation along with a two-year D.El.Ed (by any known name).
2. Graduation with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and BEd.
3. Graduation with at least 45 per cent marks and BEd, in accordance with NCTE regulations.
4. Class 12 (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and 4-year BElEd.
5. HS or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks and 4-year BA/BScEd or BAEd/BScEd.
6. Graduation with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and BEd, with Special Education qualification.
7. Furthermore, candidates are required to hold a degree or its equivalent in the subjects/languages relevant to the recruitment. They must have also cleared the TNTET paper 2 exam with the respective optional subject. Additionally, proficiency in the Tamil Language is mandatory.

In cases where candidates lack the requisite knowledge of Tamil but are otherwise eligible for appointment, they must successfully pass the Second-Class Language Test (full-test) in Tamil conducted by the TNPSC within two years from the date of appointment.

Application Fee:

The application fee is ₹300 for SC, SCA, ST, and differently-abled individuals, while all other candidates are required to pay ₹600.
