The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conclude the application process for the 19th edition of the July 2024 session of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), soon. Previously, the last date was announced to be April 2, which was later extended to April 5 (till 11.59PM). Candidates who have not yet submitted their application can do so through the official website - ctet.nic.in.
How to Apply
- Visit the official website at ctet.nic.in.
- Click on the ‘Apply Online’ option displayed on the homepage.
- Fill out the application form.
- Upload the required documents (scanned signature and picture).
- Make the payment of the examination fee.
- Print and download the confirmation page for future reference.
The candidates are advised to carefully fill out the form with accurate details. However, an edit option facility will be available to the candidates for the correction of data in their application form.
Examination Fee
- General/OBC(NCL) - ₹1000 (paper I/paper II) and ₹1200 (paper I & paper II)
- SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person - ₹500 (paper I/paper II) and ₹600 (paper I & paper II)
According to the official CTET 2024 July schedule, the exam will be conducted on July 7, 2024, in twenty languages across 136 cities nationwide.
