The COVID-19 pandemic created the greatest disruption to the education system of the world. This chapter in our history has affected nearly 1.6 billion learners across 190 countries and on all continents. The closure of schools and other places of learning affected 94% of the population along with the worldwide student population, up to 99% in both low- and middle-income countries.
Keeping this massively transformed situation in mind, after 2 long years APAI is back with its annual Pre-counselling Fair from 17th to 19th August 2022. The Fair is being organised with the support of the Department of Higher Education, MAKAUT & West Bengal Joint Entrance Board.
Education in West Bengal has always played a central role in the development of the country's academic infrastructure. Technological advances around the world are opening up new career opportunities. New priorities are being set for industry, academia engagement, employability and innovation.
APAI or Association of Professional Academic Institutions is a nonprofit organisation constantly working towards the enhancement of Technical education in the State. It has been organising such Pre-counselling Fairs which have been of immense help to the students providing a one-stop solution for choosing the right college and the right course of studies. As students and guardians tend to get lost in the milieu of so many choices and options. Pre-counselling Fairs act as a guide in choosing the right engineering college.
