As per the schedule, the AP TET Exam 2024 was held from 27 February to 9 March in two shifts. The first shift was from 9:30 am to 12 noon, while the second was from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
AP TET result was scheduled to be released on 14 March but was postponed owing to the implementation of the model code of conduct (MCC) in Andhra Pradesh in line with the Lok Sabha Polls 2024. An ECI letter dated 30 March 2024, informed that the declaration of AP TET results and the conduct of the AP TRT (Teachers Recruitment Test) or AP DCS exams was deferred till the operation of the Model Code of Conduct in the state.
