By implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the federal government has made revolutionary strides in the domains of sports, education, skill development, and regional language instruction, according to Union Minister Anurag Thakur.
He was speaking at Doaba College in Jalandhar's Varinder Auditorium for the college's 65th convocation.
The National Policy on Education, created in 1986, was replaced by NEP 2020. The country's school and higher education systems are to be reformed as part of NEP 2020. The option of 3- or 4-year undergraduate programs and multiple entries was one of the changes made.
‘Today’s era is about women empowerment, the biggest proof of which is that women are advancing in every field-especially education and sports, that is an ideal picture of today’s changing India,’ said Thakur.
