Qualifying Criteria for AP NMMS 2025

  • Students must pass both the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) papers of the NMMS exam with a combined score of at least 40%.
  • For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, the minimum passing marks are relaxed to 32%.

Application Fees for AP NMMS 2025

  • Students belonging to the General and Backward Classes have to pay an application fee of INR 100
  • Students from SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories are required to pay INR 50.

To complete the AP NMMS 2025 registration, students must pay the exam fee by October 14.

The NMMS awards one lakh new scholarships annually to deserving students in the ninth grade, with opportunities for renewal from classes 10 to 12.

These scholarships are applicable for students studying in state government, government-aided, and local body schools. Each state and union territory independently conducts its examination for NMMS selection, targeting talented students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

As of April 1, 2017, the scholarship amount was increased to INR 12,000 per year, doubling from the previous amount of INR 6,000 annually.
