Harshita expressed joy on her winning of the title and said,

“Mental health is a major cause for concern and the idea struck me during the pandemic as I read about many cases of depression and suicide during this period. It took me around nine months to develop this idea and through this app, I want to help the adolescents who face mental health issues which, in some cases, even leads to suicidal tendencies,” Harshita said.

Harshita competed with over 750 shortlisted participants and went through four preliminary rounds. Nineteen projects were shortlisted for the national final. Three more Amity International School students —Akshat Sharma of Class XII, Tanmay Goyal of Class IX and Stuti Priya of Class VIII — also made it to the final.

“We, at Amity, resolutely believe in nurturing the scientific spark in young Amitians, thereby, ensuring a deliberation of ideas and initiating an intellectual awakening. We are extremely proud of our student’s achievement and are certain that our students will always keep the flag of Amity Schools flying high, through their remarkable achievements in various fields,” said Amita Chauhan, chairperson, Amity Schools.

The jury comprised 13 eminent national and international personalities.
