Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Headquarters (Northern Region) is inviting applications for the Apprenticeship Training Program in Northern Region for the year 2022-23. A total of 44 seats (tentative) are available for candidates to apply for. The last date of registration is 7 November 2022.

AAI 2022: Apprenticeship Training Program Major Details

Candidates who are interested in applying for AAI Apprenticeship Training Program can check out all the major details below:

Field of Specialization: ITI Trade (Computer Operator Programming Assistant, Stenographer, Electrical, Mechanic and Electronics)

Duration of Training: 1 year

Monthly Stipend: Trade (ITI) Apprentice stipend is Rs. 9000/- per month

Locations/Airports of apprenticeship training at Northern Region Airports: RHQ, NR, New Delhi, and various Delhi-based units, Bikaner, CATC, Dehradun, Gorakhpur, Gwalior, Hindon, Kullu, Moradabad, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Srinagar, Varanasi, etc.

Educational Qualification: ITI Trade candidates should possess ITI/NCVT certificates of the above-mentioned trades from institutions recognized by AICTE, GOI.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Only Indian Nationals from the Northern Region are eligible.

2. Candidates who passed ITI in 2020 or after 2020 are eligible.

3. Age limit: Maximum Age is 26 years as of 31.08.2022.

Mode of Selection:

  1. The provisional selection of the candidates would be merit-based in the qualifying examination.
  2. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Document verification through their registered email IDs only.
  3. The final selection will be based on the Interview/verification of certificates and submission of a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
  4. The selected candidates will be posted preferably at the given locations in Northern Region based on their registration location (in the portal).

Candidates are required to visit the following website: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/ and register themselves on the portal. After getting login credentials, candidates can apply for AAI Apprenticeship Training Program by clicking on ‘Apprenticeship Opportunities’ on the homepage.
