The All India Management Association (AIMA) has released the much-awaited schedule and revised pattern for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2.0. According to the press release, starting from May 2024, this revamped version of the MAT exam is set to bring significant changes to the testing process, offering a more streamlined and efficient experience for candidates seeking admission to MBA/PGDM/MMS programmes across India.
What's New in MAT 2.0?
The AIMA has introduced several key changes to the MAT format, including:
MAT 2024 will be administered four times a year (February, May, September, and December) in three modes - Computer-based test (CBT), Paper-based test (PBT), and Remote Proctored Internet-based test (IBT).
The official AIMA notification outlines the revised MAT 2.0 schedule. The application window is open now, allowing candidates to register for the upcoming exams.
As per the MAT 2024 May schedule, the three IBTs will be conducted on May 19, May 24, and May 31 respectively. The registration for these tests will conclude on May 16, May 21, and May 28, respectively. The IBT admit cards are scheduled for release on May 18, May 23, and May 30, 2024, respectively.
CBT is scheduled for May 26, 2024, with the registration deadline on May 19, and the admit cards to be released on May 23.
Additionally, PBT will be conducted on June 2, 2024, registration for which needs to be completed by May 28 as the admit cards are slated for release on May 30, 2024.
