The Bar Council of India has issued the final answer key for AIBE 17 for all language papers. Applicants who appeared for the AIBE 17 exam further must note that the cutoff marks have been dropped as 2 questions have been deleted, and 2 answers have been revised. The AIBE XVII (17) results are expected to be out anytime soon. The official notification added, "Dear Candidates, Objection tracker was raised from 13th feb 2023 to 20th feb 2023 after analysing the objection raised by candidates. There are two questions that have been delete and now the result would be computed on the basis of the remaining 98 questions only and two questions answer keys have been changed, so please find the revised answer keys of all languages. "
Now as two questions have been dropped, the AIBE 17 result will be calculated based on 98 marks. For the other 2 questions, for which the BCI has revised answers, applicants will be awarded marks in case they have attempted the questions.
The exam authority will also announce the qualifying status of all applicants who appeared for AIBE 17 on 5 February 2023. As of now, no scorecards will be granted to any applicant, they will only be informed whether they 'Passed/ Failed' for AIBE XVII.
The certificate of practice (COP) will be granted by the state bar councils within a month of result declaration, and the submission of application (for COP) by the AIBE qualified candidates.
