The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official notification for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2024. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications for AFCAT 2024 on the official website at afcat.cdac.in.
According to the notification, AFCAT 2024 registration is all set to commence on December 1 and will conclude on December 30, 2023. The IAF is looking to fill a total of 317 vacancies across flying, ground duty (Technical), and ground duty (Non-technical) branches.
For the flying branch, candidates aged between 20 to 24 years as of January 1, 2024, are eligible, with an age relaxation up to 26 years for those possessing a commercial pilot licence issued by DGCA (India). The age limit for ground duty branches (Technical and Non-technical) is 20 to 26 years as of January 1, 2024.
Candidates applying for the flying branch and ground duty (Non-technical) must have secured a minimum of 50% in physics and mathematics in their Class 12 examinations, along with a three-year bachelor's degree or a BE/BTech degree with a minimum of 60% from a recognised university.
For ground duty (Technical), a minimum of 60% in physics and mathematics in Class 12 is required, along with an engineering or technology degree from a recognised university, either at the graduation or post-graduate level.
Selected candidates will receive a pay scale ranging from Rs 56,100 to 1,77,500, along with additional allowances based on duty and posting location.

3. Fill out the registration form with necessary details.
4. Log in using the credentials generated during registration.
5. Complete the application form with required information.
6. Upload necessary documents and make the required payment.
7. Download and retain a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
