The Indian Air Force is in charge of administering the AFCAT, or Air Force Common Admission Test. Each year, in February and August, the exam is conducted to select Class-I Officers for Flying and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical). Candidates can register for the AFCAT whether they are male or female.
In June 2023, AFCAT 2 notice 2023 is expected to be made public. The necessary eligibility requirements must be met by applicants who wish to appear for the AFCAT 2 exam in 2023.

Candidates must be a citizen of India.
AFCAT 2023 Eligibility: Age Limit
Candidates must have been born between January 2, 2000, and January 1, 2004, in order to be eligible for the Aviation Branch's AFCAT 1 age restriction of 20 to 24 years as of January 1, 2024. (both dates inclusive).
Candidates who have a Commercial Pilot License issued by the DGCA (India) may have their upper age restriction relaxed up to 26 years, or if they were born between January 2, 1998, and January 1, 2004, respectively (both dates inclusive).
Candidates for the Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) section must be between the ages of 20 and 26 as of January 1, 2024, or between January 2, 1998, and January 1, 2004. (both dates inclusive).
AFCAT 2023 Eligibility: Educational Qualifications
Candidates for the flying branch of the AFCAT must have completed Class 12 with 60 percent in maths and physics, as well as a graduate degree in any field, a BE or a BTech, or 60 percent accomplishment in the section A and B exams for associate membership in the Institution of Engineers (India) or the Aeronautical Society of India.
