Exam Timings
Scheduled for December 3, 2023, the CLAT 2024 exam is the gateway to admission in 22 NLUs and affiliated institutes offering law programmes. The CLAT admit card 2024 is mandatory for entry and verification at the exam centre, containing crucial details like the candidate’s name, exam centre details, timings and more.
In an interesting development, Delhi University is set to admit students for 5-year LLB programmes based on their CLAT scores this year.
CLAT UG Syllabus 2024
This year will exhibit a revamped CLAT syllabus, challenging candidates in English Language, Current Affairs (including General Knowledge), Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. The 2-hour exam comprises 120 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
CLAT PG Syllabus 2024
For PG law programmes, the CLAT 2024 exam focuses on mandatory law subjects, including constitutional law, jurisprudence, administrative law, law of contract, torts, family law, criminal law, property law, company law, public international law, tax law, environmental law, and labour and industrial law.
