About the SSC CHSL 2024 Exam
The SSC CHSL exam is conducted annually to recruit candidates for positions such as:
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO)
For the 2024 recruitment cycle:
Tier 1: Held from July 1 to 11, 2024.
Tier 2: Conducted on November 18, 2024.
SSC CHSL 2024 Exam Pattern
The SSC CHSL follows a three-tier selection process:
- Tier 1: Online objective test with sections on General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.
Total marks: 200 (50 marks per section).
Duration: 60 minutes.
- Tier 2: Descriptive test conducted in pen-and-paper mode.
Sections include Essay Writing (50 marks) and Letter/ Application Writing (50 marks).
Duration: 60 minutes.
- Tier 3: Skill Test/Typing Test specific to the post.
Includes a Data Entry Speed Test for DEO posts and Typing Test for LDC and JSA posts.
