249 Typist Post Vacancies Open Up at Jharkhand High Court: Application Begins from March 1

The Jharkhand High Court, in an official notification, has invited candidates to submit their application online for the post of Typist/ Copyist, Court Reader-cum-Deposition Writer, and Deposition Typist. Application submission for a total of 249 open positions is scheduled to begin on March 1 and continue till March 31, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application through the official website - jharkhandhighcourt.nic.in.

To apply for the positions mentioned above, candidates must submit a single online application and prioritise their preferences.

Age Limit

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age as of January 1, 2024, with a maximum age of 35 years in the un-reserved and EWS categories, 37 years in the BC-I and BC-II categories, 38 years in the female category (un-reserved, EWS, BC-I, and BC-II), and 40 years in the ST and S. categories (both male and female). Persons with Disabilities (PwD) will receive an additional age relaxation of ten years.

Minimum Educational Qualification

• Typist/ Copyist (Civil Court) - Graduate in any subject from a recognised university with a typing speed of 40 words per minute (wpm) in English and 30 words per minute (wpm) in Hindi.
• Court Reader-cum-Deposition Writer - Graduate in any subject from a recognised university with a typing speed of 40 words per minute (wpm) in English and 30 words per minute (wpm) in Hindi.
• Deposition Typist (Civil Court) - Graduate in any subject from a recognised university with a typing speed of 40 words per minute (wpm) in English and 30 words per minute (wpm) in Hindi.
