Candidates studying in India who have a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree or a provisional MBBS pass certificate issued in accordance with the Indian Medical Council Act or also an MBBS registration certificate issued by the Indian or state medical council; and who have finished or will soon finish their internship are eligible to apply for the exam.

The exam is meant for students interested in pursuing a choice of postgraduate courses, including the Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), and certificate programmes in government or private medical universities nationwide.

There are 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the computer-based exam. The only language used is English. It is conducted in 162 exam centres throughout India. 4 marks are given for each correctly answered question, and 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. 2. CAT
The Common Admission Test (CAT) entrance exam is the route for all students who want to succeed in the management field. It is regarded as India's most prestigious national-level entrance exam The IIM (Indian Institute of Management) typically conducts this PG entrance exam annually.

Candidates who have a bachelor's degree from a university of recognised standing with a minimum score of 50%. 3. GATE
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineer (GATE) exam, which is jointly administered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISC) and seven IITs, is one of the most difficult PG entrance examinations on the list. Students who pass this exam are eligible to apply for Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) jobs in the future.

4. CLAT-PG
For admission to India's 22 National Law Universities (NLU), the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a standardized, national-level entrance examination. These marks are also used for admission to the majority of privately and independently funded law schools in India. For hiring legal jobs in their organisations, public sector organisations in India including ONGC, Coal India, BHEL, Steel Authority of India, Oil India, etc. employ CLAT Post Graduation (CLAT PG) results.

Candidates with a LL. B./B. L. degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised university with at least 45% (45% for SC and ST candidates) in the overall exam. Candidates are also allowed to take the exam if they passed the qualifying degree examination on their second, third, or fourth attempt.
