As a Social development expert working in India and driving programs like SBI Youth for India, it is my privilege to present the top 10 career options in India's social sector for the youth. The young population of India possesses immense potential to create a positive impact on society by actively participating in various roles within the social sector. These careers not only offer fulfilling and meaningful work but also contribute to the overall development of the nation.

About the author: Mr. Sanjay Prakash is the Managing Director and CEO of SBI Foundation. He was earlier posted as the Deputy General Manager (Industrial Relations) in the HR Department of SBI, Corporate Centre, Mumbai, for 4 years.A Science graduate with Honours in Statistics from Patna University, he joined SBI in the year 1990. He began his banking career with initial postings in remote rural locations. He headed the Jamshedpur Region in Jharkhand for 3 years. Later, he headed the IT Services and the HR Department at SBI Local Head Office, Patna. As DGM (IR), he maintained a cordial IR climate in the Bank and took care of the welfare measures for the 2.5 Lakh employees of SBI.
