With the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2022 slated for April 10, there is not much time left for preparation. Here are a few pointers to follow for the next few days.
Revise what you've learnt
Brushing up what you've learnt is important as it would help you recapitulate the main pointers. Consult your notes and refresh each and every topic in your mind. Make sure that you take notes during revisions and compare them with the actual text to check how much you can retain.
Avoid learning new topics
You need not learn anything new as the exam is now knocking at the door. Do not overburden your head with a completely new topic as you might not be able to grasp its concept in only three days. Stay relaxed and keep your faith in what you have prepared so far.
Don’t feel let down because of your mock test result
Sitting for mocks is always a great idea — it's really helpful in terms of experiencing the real exam before it begins. But remember that it's not your final exam. Mocks are held to show you the areas in which you can actually improve. Never let the result of a mock exam affect your confidence.
Focus on general knowledge and English
Your English skills are important to clear the NDA exam. Practise hard to become proficient in English. Apart from the written test, it would help you during the interview process to impress the selectors. Stay informed about what's happening around you by reading newspapers, magazines and books.
Rest well before the exam
Taking a good rest before the exam will help you stay calm and composed. Do not panic, sleep well and enter the exam hall with a balanced state of mind. Remember that you've prepared well for the exam and that's going to be displayed in your answers. Stay positive and you'll crack the exam!
Make good use of the exam time
Knowing how to manage time during the exam is a sure recipe for success. Don’t waste your time on any question you are confident about; move on to the next one. Also, do not devote too much time on a single question as it wouldn’t help you get extra marks — try as many as you can.
