The Telegraph Online Edugraph celebrated World Youth Skills Day 2022, with Skillfest, a competition to empower young students from classes VIII-XII of schools across West Bengal. The major aim of the event was to provide the bright young minds with a platform to explore their inner creativities. Entries from the five categories were judged by experienced teachers from prestigious schools in Kolkata. Entries were received and judged in 5 different categories: Scientific Thinking, Content Creation, Photography, Digital Art and Entrepreneurship.

My experience of the event was an enriching and intellectually challenging one. All the photographs were exceptionally good. Though difficult to choose, the best was the best.

Skillfest as organised by The Telegraph Online Edugraph has been a creative platform. Colours and monochrome made a beautiful combination of various art forms. Was highly impressed with the choice of stories to bring the topic alive. Really had a tough time choosing the winners

According to me all the photographs are technically very high quality but I felt that some of the photographs are lacking in innovation and concept. I would like to wish them all the success in the future in this category as most of them are very talented and are definitely going to break certain boundaries.

This venture would surely throw light on the hidden photography traits developing within the young minds. While evaluating I came across beautiful photographs with rare concepts on various subject matters. Their zeal towards photography will help them to reach their cherished goals in the near future.

The contest was well structured and informative, and comprehensive guidelines and instructions were given to participants. It was a delight to watch young minds display scientific thinking, creativity and presentation skills. The contestants displayed excellent articulation. Clarity of thought and innovation was well brought out in most entries.
The Telegraph Online Edugraph organised Skillfest 2022 has been a vehicle for the exposition of the innate interests and talents that may often remain hidden in the youth of today. The feedback from the judges is testimony to the quality of talent the young stars have to display - and we hope this can be a starting point for these students, where they take this validation and further nurture their skills for the future.
