The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting a Limited Departmental Competitive examination for filling up vacancies to the positions of Assistant Commandants (Executive) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
The examination will be held on March 10 in New Delhi. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply online at the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. The last date for submission of online application is December 19.
Candidates submitting their online application are also required to send a hard copy online-submitted application through proper channel to the CISF authorites at the following address, Director General, Central Industrial Security Force, 13, CGO Complex, Lodi Road, New Delhi-110003, for verification and onward transmission to the Commission.
The last day for receiving printed hard copy of the online application form to the CISF authorites along with enclosures and certificates is January 5, 2024.
Details of the vacancy
A total of 20 candidates will be recruited for the position of Assistant Commandants (Executive) with the CISF. The 20 candidates include 16 from the General Category and 4 candidates from the Scheduled Caste Category.
Eligibility conditions
For details regarding eligibility conditions, the syllabus and scheme of the examination, physical/medical standards etc., aspirants should consult the Rules of the Examination notified by Ministry of Home Affairs in the Gazette of India on November 29, 2023. Candidates will be able to download the rules from the official website of CISF at www.cisf.gov.in and official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
Admit Card
UPSC will be issuing the e-Admit card to the eligible candidates on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in two weeks before the date of the examination.
