Good news for candidates looking for government jobs. The State Selection Board Odisha has begun the application process for recruitment to the position of lecturer at non-government-aided colleges. The application process has begun from Wednesday, March 20 and will continue till April 19. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application online at the official website of SSB Odisha at ssbodisha.ac.in.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for the position should possess a Master's Degree in the concerned subject from a recognised university with at least 55 percent marks or its equivalent grade on the date of Application.
However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, SEBC and/or PwD will have to gain at least 50 percent marks.
Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of written test, career and viva-voce test taken together.
The exam will have a full marks of 200. Out of the 200 marks, Carrer Assessment will have 25 marks, Written (MCQ) will have 150 marks and Viva-voce will have 25 marks.
Age limit
Candidates applying for the position must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 42 on January 1, 2024.
The upper age limit prescribed above is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), Women and Ex-Servicemen.
The upper age limit is retaxabte by 1O years for the candidates betonging to PwD category.
