Vivekananda Mission School, on January 12 celebrated the 161st birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in the school premises. The ceremony was attended by over 2000 people including the students, alumni, parents and other guests.
The celebration witnessed the entire VMS family joining hands to make it a grand success. The campus was decorated with a variety of seasonal flowers and the event was live-streamed on the school's Facebook page.

In the Pooja, the bhog offered was prepared by the students from the department of Home Science with expert assistance of the teachers.
Throughout the ceremony, the air was filled with the melodious songs sung by the teachers and students of the school. A cultural presentation, involving devotional songs and script-reading were also performed by the teachers and the students.
