With a mission to ignite the flames of curiosity and foster a deep-seated love for all things scientific, BITM, in collaboration with the Department of Youth Services & Sports, Govt of West Bengal and the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, proudly present the Kolkata District Student Youth Science Fair 2023-24.
Set against the backdrop of advancing society through the lens of science and technology, this year's fair revolves around the theme ‘Science and Technology for Society’, delving into critical sub-themes including health, environmental sustainability, agriculture, communication, transport, and the power of computational thinking.
Programme Schedule
- Inauguration: January 29, 2024 at 11.30AM
- Exhibition Hours:
January 29, 2024 – noon to 5PM.
January 30, 2024 – 10AM to 4PM.
- Valediction & Prize Distribution: January 30, 2024 at 3PM.

With around 50 captivating models on display on the BITM premises, prepare to be enthralled by the creativity and passion of these budding scientists.
But the journey doesn't end here – winners of the fair will earn the coveted opportunity to represent Kolkata at the prestigious West Bengal State Student Youth Science Fair 2023-24, slated to take place at the Salt Lake Stadium during February 8-9, 2024.
