Pragya, the Official Quiz Club of University of Engineering and Management Kolkata, organised the third edition of their annual quiz festival, Jigisha from 23 to 25 of August, 2024. Since its inception, Jigisha has quickly become a melting pot of knowledge and culture, uniting people from all walks of life.
The UEMK Campus was all decked up for the three day long celebration of knowledge, the corridors echoed with the theme of Indian achievements as hand drawn paintings visualising the massive impact of knowledge in India adorned the pathways.
The three day quizzing extravaganza was marked by six different quizzes hosted by the members of the quiz club.

Friday Night Blockbuster - Online Mela Quiz
Hit the Homerun - Under 25 Sports Quiz
Convergence - Under 25 Biz-Tech Quiz
Fandomania - Under 25 Fandom and Pop Culture Quiz
Pragya Sixth Sense - Open General Flagship Quiz
Each of the quizzes had massive participation from quiz enthusiasts all across the country. The online MELA quiz saw a massive participation of 1000+ individuals while the offline quizzes, spanning over three days, had the auditorium filled with curious minds, eager to engage in the battle of wits.
Jigisha, which prides itself for inclusivity with free registration for all, had something in store for everyone with cash prizes, certificates, amazing swags and merchandise for the finalists and participants alike!
Team Jigisha displayed an amazing camaraderie and teamwork to make sure of the success of the three day long event. All participants had only compliments in store about the quizzing culture and the hospitality received at Jigisha.
The team looks forward to coming back bigger and better in the upcoming editions!
