Summary
The event is spread across two days, the 6th will be Technical Day and the 7th May is Cultural Day.
Merit Certificates and prize money from a pool of up to Rs 10,000 will be provided to the 2nd Runner-up, 1st Runner-up and Winners of all Offline Events, and only Winners of all Online Events.

The Department of Food Technology at Techno Main Salt Lake is organising ‘Sampriti’ its annual departmental fest on 6 May 2023. The event entails two days – Technical Day and Cultural Day.

On the Technical day, an informative seminar by eminent speakers belonging to the Industry will be conducted. Followed by a question-answer session with the speakers and faculty members. Additionally, the varsity has also made arrangements for games and events.

The online events category will include:

• PensCraft, the Technical Article Writing event

• Food Focus, the Food Photography event.

The offline events, which will be held on the Technical Day of Sampriti, include:

• Innovation Hunt, an event with three rounds encompassing

o Level 1: Riddle Me Out

o Level 2: Food Scrabble

o Level 3: Fix The Process

• Posterical, the Technical Poster Presentation event.

Merit Certificates and prize money from a pool of up to Rs 10,000 will be provided to the 2nd Runner-up, 1st Runner-up and Winners of all Offline Events, and only Winners of all Online Events. Additionally, the winning articles from PensCraft, winning photographs from Food Focus, and winning posters from Posterical will be featured in the departmental souvenir brochure.

Participation certificates will be issued for all. These certificates will be helpful for students to collect MAR points (for MAKAUT-affiliated colleges), and add to their resume.

The second day of Sampriti entails the Cultural Day which provides a platform for all alumni to relive their memories through a reunion. The university is inviting interested students to join the departmental fest.
