In a major move towards facilitating students with the latest educational technologies and helping them in upgrading their skills the Techno India group has collaborated with Google Cloud to introduce 'Digital Campus on Google Cloud', an initiative to transform the process in which education is delivered.
Through this collaboration, the students and faculty at Techno India University will be able to access advanced cloud computing services, big data analytics and machine learning capabilities, that will ensure better learning and career opportunities for the students.
"Through this partnership 15,000 students from Techno India Group will be able to access all the apps that google has on Google Cloud. This will help them in upskilling themselves and enrich their career growth opportunities," said Meghdoot Roychowdhury, Chief Innovation Officer & Executive Director, Techno India Group.
Students will be provided opportunities to upskill themselves through several programmes to be launched under this collaboration.
"Under this pilot project, students will get access to 200-hour courses on Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). These skills are important for students to keep up with the technological advancement the world is currently going through. We are looking forward to the launch of these courses," he added.

This collaboration would be instrumental in bringing fresh cloud-ready talent into the market and create more opportunities for students to their careers in the AI era," said Mr Subram Natrajan, Director of Customer Engineering at Google Cloud.
"Techno India University is the first private university in the state to start courses on AI and other new-age technologies and has collaborated with Google to provide the best opportunities to the students in their learning process," said Prof Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group and Co-Chancellor, Techno India University.
Meghdoot Roychowdhury also added that Techno India University will soon be launching BTech programmes that will be powered by Google.
"The details of all the courses will be announced soon," he said.
