Delhi Public School Ranchi was abuzz with excitement and gratitude as the teachers of Primary and Secondary Wing came together to celebrate Teachers' Day with unparalleled zeal and fervor. The day, which marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the former President of India and a renowned educator, was commemorated with a series of heartwarming events and activities. The presence of teachers in their traditional finery marked the celebration. The ocassion was graced by Honourable Principal, Dr. Ram Singh.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ram Singh, Principal, DPS Ranchi, said, “Teachers nourish and prepare students for their future as they are the real icons of knowledge and wisdom. They create awareness among the students and common people. Our teachers are the true pillars of our success. A Teacher’s determination and sincerity shapes the destiny of the nation.” He conveyed his overwhelming regards for the task which each teacher selflessly does to carve the crude stone into a structure of magnificence. He also encouraged the teachers to continue to do good work and keep their noble profession above everything else. He reiterated the school's commitment to providing a holistic and enriching education experience.

Julien Day School, Kalyani celebrated Teachers' Day with incredible passion and enthusiasm every year, to commemorate the birth of the second President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. This year, the students of classes XI and XII had put up a spectacular event. They heartily welcomed all the teachers to the school hall where they expressed their gratitude and love to each and everyone present. The students delighted the teachers with their marvellous performances. The teachers were also reminded of their childhood days as fun-filled games were planned for them.

The Principal, Mr. Terence John, concluded the program by acknowledging the sincere efforts put in by the students for such a grand celebration and the love and labour put in by the teachers round the year to raise compassionate and knowledgeable individuals. Students of Jodhpur Park Girls’ High School celebrated the Teachers’ Day on 5th September in the august presence of all the teachers, staff and students of the morning and day section of the school with pomp and grandeur. The programme started with the opening song and Cake cutting ceremony of the Headmistress with some of the other teachers in the school hall which was beautifully decorated with flowers and festoons.

The students performed various types of cultural activities like dance, song, recitation, drama etc. A student of class XII also delivered a beautiful speech on Teachers’ Day. The programme ended by distributing chocolates, biscuits and cake. The programme was a grand success.

Teachers' Day is eagerly awaited upon by both students and teachers alike. A special day celebrated to honour teachers, whose selfless contribution in and beyond the classroom, is recognized with due respect and love, admiration and adulation by the students. They say it with flowers and beautifully hand crafted cards as an expression of gratitude. This year, the 5th of September in La Martiniere for Girls was preceded by enthusiastic practice sessions by students from all the classes who presented an entertainment programme for the enjoyment of their teachers.

The little children of the Pre Primary classes presented a bouquet of dances much to the delight of their beloved teachers. The Junior School and Middle School performances were equally entertaining as was the medley of songs, dances and skits by the Senior School children. Solo dancers and singers par excellence, enthralled their teachers with their talented displays and renditions. Teachers, on their special day, were overwhelmed by the show of love, expressed by their students. The greatest reward in this fulfilling profession is perhaps the knowledge of educating children in lessons of gratitude and humanity, thankfulness and love, far beyond the realms of the syllabus.

The Teacher's Day celebration at Loreto House was a resounding success, filled with love, appreciation, and memorable moments. It was a day to honor and celebrate the dedication and hard work of our teachers, who continue to inspire and guide us on our educational journey.

The Teacher's Day celebration at La Martiniere for Boys commenced with our morning assembly, conducted by two members of the student body with a powerful message on teachers and responsibility of students towards them .This was followed by the much-awaited traditional 'Prefects vs Teachers' Exhibition Basketball Match

A wave of excitement swept through all the boys who witnessed a narrow victory of the teachers in a fiercely contested game. A teacher's day ceremony soon ensued. Each teacher was greeted with a rose, as per tradition, and witnessed, collectively, a culmination of performances put up by the senior students. These included western band performances and a traditional Armenian Dance, each of which symbolized the necessary bond between the teachers and their students. This eventful ceremony was wrapped up, fittingly, by an empowering message delivered by our Acting Principal on teaching, and special powers that teachers are vested with. Teachers were then served a Teacher’s Day Lunch, and were felicitated by the school for their hard work and persistent dedication, bringing an end to a day of joy and fervor.

5th September 2023 was a day of emotions and expressions of love and respect in Lions Calcutta Greater Vidya Mandir. Students came together to honour and acknowledge the invaluable contributions and commitment of their teachers with a heart warming program which was planned, organised and executed solely by them. From warmly welcoming the teachers to greeting them personally, the Lionites went all out to convey their affection and admiration for their dear teachers. The program had all the makings of a festival which included dance, games and musical presentation.

What touched all hearts was a special edition of a short magazine titled 'Nurturer' exclusively for teachers and sumptuous refreshment prepared by the talented students. The gift of a special badge with a unique crafted quote for each teacher reflected true honour. The celebrations were taken a notch further when after the management organised post lunch, teachers let themselves loose with dancing and singing. All teachers enjoyed the day to their fullest but what made their eyes moist was the realisation that that they could shape their students to fly high in the New World and the assurance that they are still respected and loved in this world of Artificial Intelligence.

Loreto day school Bowbazar had celebrated Teachers' Day on the 5th of September 2023 with great zeal and ardour. The day began with seeking god's blessings through a Mass which was held in the school premises and attended by all students and teachers. The theme for the day was "Enchanted Forest", unveiling the fairy-like traits of the teachers who guide their students and lighten up their path to success.

Different shows were put up by each class. Some danced to the favourite songs of the teachers while some showcased their vocal skills. A poem was recited, expressing the strong feeling of gratitude to the teachers. A fashion show was put up, presenting the teachers on the stage, followed by the saxophone which was played by one of the students. The programme ended with a dance performance by the student council members and an insightful speech by The Principal and one of the teachers.

Teachers have existed as long as humankind, and although the formats have changed over time, their influence and role remain constant and far-reaching. On 5 September 2023, MCKVians welcomed their teachers with roses - a gesture symbolic of their appreciation and gratitude. The morning brightened up for the teachers as the students presented a special assembly featuring original poems composed by our students and a unique instrumental performance. The best part of the day was the role-reversal, where our boys shouldered various responsibilities that their teachers take up every day.

The day culminated in a cake-cutting ceremony where fond memories were created together. Teachers' Day celebration in MCKV was about acknowledging the incredible work that the teachers perform every day and it was truly worth every effort when we saw our teachers enjoy themselves and take time off just for a little while.

Like every year, National High School, Sarat Bose Road Campus, celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September, 2023 with great enthusiasm and excitement. After the pandemic, this happened to be the first Teacher's day for many KG and primary children. The children learnt about the reason behind celebrating Teacher's day and gave wonderful performances with a lot of zeal, in the form of dance, songs and speeches.

The students from the Higher Secondary Department celebrated Teacher's day by putting forward the idea "No words can ever be enough to express the gratitude for innumerable contributions of teachers." They painted the day with love, gave hand made gifts and made the day memorable for all their teachers. In the evening, the management threw a grand party at Thyagraj Hall, where all the teachers and non-teaching staff were felicitated and given gifts. Those completing 20 and 30 years of service were honoured with mementos. The celebration ended with a grand dinner.

The Teachers’ Day Celebration, held at one of the most splendid sights of the city, on 5 September 2023, was a resounding success, leaving every teacher in high spirits. The event, which ran from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., was a delightful blend of fun and camaraderie. With a turnout of approximately 200 attendees, the day began with a lively game of bingo, sparking laughter and friendly competition among the educators. The atmosphere was further enlivened by vibrant renditions of Hindi and English songs, with teachers coming together to sing and dance, letting their hair down.

On 5th of September 2023, the outgoing student's batch of St. Augustine's Day School, Barrackpore, celebrated Teachers' Day and gave tribute to the unsung heroes of our society (teachers) who play an important role in shaping their future. All the teachers from primary, middle and senior school had gathered together to watch the performance prepared by the students and experience the fruit of a week-long hard work.

The students had prepared both classical and modern pop dance performances along with euphonious recitations and a medley of well-known songs and raps. The participants had also arranged various engaging and interactive games which even included identifying teachers from their childhood pictures. The program ended with speeches from our Headmistress Ma'am and School Captain, followed by the vote of thanks by a senior school student, sharing precious moments which took the teachers down memory lane.

The Teachers’ Day celebration at St. Augustine’s Day School, Shyamnagar was a grand success, filled with gratitude and appreciation for the dedicated educators who shape the future of our students. The event was organized by the students’ council of the school and witnessed the presence of esteemed guests, including Mrs. Janet Gasper Chowdhury, President of St. Augustine Education Society, Mrs. Marie Gaspar, Governing Body member, and Mr. Pritpal Singh, Administrator of St. Augustine Education Society. The celebration commenced with a prayer service led by the students’ council. The prayer service aimed to express gratitude towards the teachers for their selfless dedication and guidance. The students’ council beautifully conducted the service, incorporating hymns and prayers that reflected the importance of teachers in our lives.

In St Xavier’s Collegiate School the students put up a splendid performance on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on the 4th of September this year. Beginning with a classical prayer song honouring the guru, they sang mellifluous Hindi and English numbers of the yesteryears taking their teachers down memory lane and then moved on to popular Bengali songs that filled our hearts with a nostalgic recollection of our own school days. The highlight of the programme was a fusion dance called ‘Rhythmscape’ that juxtaposed the beats of kathak with that of modern day hip hop. The day’s proceedings ended with Father Rev. Dr. M. Thamacin Arulappan SJ, Principal, felicitating the teachers who had completed 25 years of service in the school.

Teachers' Day was celebrated in TECHNO INDIA GROUP PUBLIC SCHOOL, GARIA with great zest and ardour. The day began by garlanding the photograph of the legendary scholar, philosopher, the President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan to mark his birth anniversary by the Principal, Ms. Tania Sen. This was followed by a group photo of the entire team. Teachers were ebullient and in a buoyant mood. The film ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’ was screened in school and everybody loved it. iLEAP Pathfinder ( tied up with Mio Amore) felicitated the Principal by gifting a beautiful cake. So, the cake cutting ceremony intensified the euphoria. All teachers received memorabilia and were issued a book to read. At the end good food completed the celebration.

The celebration began with a prayer service that filled the air with joy and tranquility. The significance of Teachers Day was presented to the children by Mrs. Chandrani Ghosh, the Principal. This was followed by a mix of songs from Grades III and IV. The lovely symphony was followed by an energetic dance by Class I, which filled the air with excitement. The recitations enriched the function.

Students gave flowers and cards as a token of their love and gratitude. A number of games were organized for the instructors to close the day on a light-hearted note and the smiles all around definitely added to the ambience of the day.

It was a "No Book Day" for students of Nursery 1 to class 2. Students prepared beautiful handmade cards and gifted them to all their beloved teachers which definitely brought big smiles on each other's faces. A dance competition was also arranged to entertain the teachers. All the teachers received cakes from the management and also received heartfelt wishes from Respected Rector Sir, Principal Sister, Vice Principal Sister and Prefect Sister.

The Teachers' Day celebrations were a grand event in Young Horizons School. All teachers were formally invited by the members of the Student Council. The students arrived early on the day of the event and took up the responsibilities of setting the stage for the programme that was to follow. The teachers were welcomed with flowers and loud cheers from the pupils. The programme began with a guruvandana by the senior school students. Children from the junior as well as the senior school presented a number of dance performances to contemporary peppy songs.

The performance by the school band left the teachers feeling warm and appreciated. The programme was punctuated by a couple of games for the teachers where the student-teacher roles were reversed for a day. The skits and the dance drama presented by the senior school children made the teachers and the audience erupt in laughter. Each performance was meticulously planned and rehearsed by the students solely to bring a smile on the faces of their beloved teachers.
