To tickle your grey cells, Sunday Classics Organisation will be back again with the second edition of Quizzingly Yours: Quiz for a Cause on January 29 (prelims) and January 30 (final) 2022. The event will be held on Zoom, from 5pm to 7pm, on both days.
Students aged 15 to 25 years can sign up for the event. Registration closes at midnight on January 26. All proceedings from registration will be donated to the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy.
All participants will receive a certificate and winners will receive medals, certificates and prizes. Mir Afsar Ali will be chief guest on January 30.
“Quizzingly Yours was started in 2020. It is different from other quiz events because we donate all the revenue generated for social development. Everyone talks about philanthropy but mostly for promotion. When we carried out surveys among different groups of people, they wanted someone or something who could actually think of society. Hence the idea of tying up with philanthropic organisations,” said Sinchani Dutta, a Mass Communication and Public Relations postgraduate diploma student of St. Xavier’s College and co-founder of Sunday Classics Organisation.
Sunday Classics Organization is a student body that curates a variety of digital events for the youth.
“The event team is headed by an event coordinator, public relations associates, media in-charge, technology associates as well as the logistics team. The marketing and public relations teams play a huge role. We are holding digital meetings every now and then to avoid any communication gap. Social media plays a major role in drawing attention,” said Debdyuti Sarkar, a Class XII Humanities student of Techno India Group Public School, Hooghly, and human resource head of Sunday Classics Organisation.
