Subhash Bose Institute of Hotel Management (SBIHM), a prestigious institution in West Bengal offering higher education, provides a range of management courses approved by the Central Government UGC (2F), AICTE, NCHMCT, as well as MAKAUT approved by the State Government. "From its humble beginnings with 15 students in a 600 square feet college, SBIHM has grown to encompass two campuses—one in Kolkata and another in North 24 Parganas—spanning approximately seven acres with a total of 1 lakh sq.ft. Currently, the institution boasts around 120 dedicated faculty members and educational staff," said Bidisha Sarkar, Group CEO of SBIHM.
Internships are mandatory for all courses, with Hospitality and Hotel Management students placed in prestigious Five Star Hotels, Airlines, and Airports domestically and internationally.

Hospital Management students intern in super and multispecialty hospitals, while BBA, BCA, and Fashion Design students secure internships in corporate firms, IT companies, and international fashion houses. Internship durations vary from 6 months within the country to 1 year abroad. Campus interviews commence in the final year, facilitating job placements in various organizations both nationally and internationally.
Over 10 thousand SBIHM alumni are successfully employed in renowned establishments such as five-star hotels, airlines, cruise lines, banks, hospitals, airports, and multinational organizations across the globe, including the USA, UK, France, Germany, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and India.

Being approved by both Central and State Governments, SBIHM students have access to government student credit card loans, minority loans, and bank education loans. Additionally, they are eligible for various government scholarships and facilities.
