On the velvety winter evening of Saturday, 7th December 2024, STEM World School hosted the enchanting Day 1 of its Annual Concert, leaving the audience spellbound. The presence of the esteemed Chief Guest, Shrimati Manju Basu, Hon'ble MLA of Noapara, added grace and prestige to the occasion.
The event began with an Opening Address, followed by the symbolic Lighting of the Lamp of Joy and the Felicitation Ceremony, celebrating achievements and gratitude. The inspiring Speech by the Guest of Honour elevated the evening with words of encouragement.
The cultural extravaganza unfolded with a divine Shiv Vandana, a vibrant Retro Fashion Show, and Alternating Attire, celebrating Unity in Diversity. The humorous act Ek Ekke Ek brought smiles to all. After a short break, the magical Tota Kahini storytelling, a melodious Song Recital, and the thought-provoking Dance Drama – Save Earth, Save Nature mesmerized the audience. Heartwarming Christmas Carols concluded the performances, spreading festive cheer.
The evening ended with a Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem, marking the perfect finale to a day of artistic brilliance and joy. Day 1 was a grand success, setting the stage for an equally captivating Day 2.
The second day of STEM World School’s Annual Concert on Sunday, 8th December 2024, was a spectacular showcase of creativity and talent by students from Classes 5 to 12. Graced by the presence of Mrs. Kirtika Rajoria, an educationist, philanthropist, and wife of Shri Alok Rajoria IPS, Commissioner of Police Barrackpore, as the Chief Guest, the event was further dignified by Guests of Honour, Smt. Anasuya Chakraborty, OC of the Community Policing Wing, and Shri Uttam Das, Chairman of Barrackpore Municipality.
The program began with an Opening Address, the Lighting of the Lamp, and a heartfelt Felicitation Ceremony. The inspiring Speech by the Guests of Honour set the tone for an evening filled with brilliance.
The cultural journey commenced with a vibrant Opening Dance, followed by a poignant presentation of Chandalika, and an energetic Fusion Dance. The satirical play Juto Abhishkar enthralled the audience, while A Summit that Never Was highlighted global concerns with a touch of wit and drama. After the break, the stage came alive with a Musical Medley and the thematic performance Unity in Diversity, showcasing harmony.
The heartfelt Tribute to Salil Chowdhury honored the legendary composer. The event concluded with a warm Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem, marking the end of a truly unforgettable evening. Day 2 was a resounding success, demonstrating STEM World School’s excellence in holistic education and cultural enrichment.
