Among the most exciting and impactful events within the academic calendar are college festivals. These vibrant and dynamic gatherings provide students with an invaluable opportunity to unearth their latent talents and potential, fostering an environment of exploration, creativity, and self-realisation.
One such event is also organised by one of the prominent colleges in the city of joy: St Xaviers. The inaugural event of the college: X-Genesis, is solely for the first-year students of the college. The event aims to bring ambitious corporates to a world of rigorous competition and provide them the opportunity to discover their potential. It also aims to give freshers a platform to assess their skills and demonstrate their talent. They get knowledge of the corporate world through these activities, which covers various important disciplines. This knowledge helps with their overall development. In its past years this fest has also had speakers like Mrs. Anamika Khanna, an Indian fashion designer and the head of the global fashion company Ana-mika, and Mr. Ankur Warikoo, a well-known author and internet personality.
X-Genesis'23 presents a number of embellishing events created within the horizon of management that will put the students’ management acumen to the test, challenge their cognizance in every step and augment their panorama of knowledge of the corporate world. It is our first calendar event curated exclusively for first years and witnesses participation across all departments of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. It has a footfall of 400 participants. This year the fest will take place from: 21st to 23rd August. The registration for the fest is all set to conclude today on 19th August, 2023.
One of the most remarkable aspects of X-Genesis'23 is the inclusivity it offers. Students from various disciplines and backgrounds converge, leading to interdisciplinary collaborations and cross-pollination of ideas. This interaction not only broadens perspectives but also ignites a spark of curiosity that can drive students to explore fields they might never have considered before.
