St Augustine's Day School hosted its much-anticipated Augusto Career Fair 2024 on September 21, providing students with an exceptional opportunity to explore a multitude of career avenues. Esteemed guests like Mr Shishir Roy, a journalist from Anandabazar Patrika; Mr Sharanya Dey, an actor and director; Ms Kaberi Roychowdhury, a celebrated Bengali author; and Mr Manish Gaekwad, a senior scriptwriter at Red Chillies Entertainment, provided students with invaluable insights into their respective professions.

One of the day's highlights was a lively panel discussion on the aviation industry led by Ms Sreeja Bhattacharya, a cabin crew member, and Ms Shreya Roy, ground staff at Kolkata Airport. RJ and program anchor Sayan Ghosh kept the energy high with an interactive session, while career counselor Amrita Basu answered numerous student queries, helping them navigate the complexities of career choices.
Students also engaged with experts from a wide range of fields, including hospitality expert Ms Jyoti Bagri from Franklin, sound designer and music producer Mr Indranil Chatterjee, and Mr. Abhijit Chatterjee, founder of Ascensive Group of Companies. Dance enthusiasts were treated to an enriching session with dancer Ms Shayomita Dasgupta, while Dr Partha Sarathi Bhattacharya, a lead singer and doctor, shared his unique experiences of blending the arts with healthcare.
