Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School Silpukhuri Guwahati celebrated Children's Day on 14th November 2023 with a vibrant celebration featuring diverse cultural programmes presented by dedicated teachers

The event commenced with an inaugural speech by the school Principal, Mrs. Manika Goswami. As a part of a twinning School students and teachers from TC School Guwahati joined in the celebration and performed varied cultural programmes.

To commemorate Child Rights Week, which began on November 14, 2023 and to stress upon the importance of cultivating a safe and supportive environment for children; an interactive program was organised in DPS GUWAHATI on 17-11-23 as part of the 'Assam Police Sishu Mitra programme'

The programme has been envisioned to promote Child Friendly Policing in Assam in partnership with UNICEF Assam and UTSAH Child Rights Organisation. The team was led by Shri Harmeet Singh, IPS, Special Director General of Police (HQ), Assam who was also the guest speaker during the event. Shri Singh in his interactive session with students of DPS Guwahati stated that with freedom comes great responsibility
