Rishi Aurobindo Memorial Academy on Saturday, December 7, hosted the Principals’ Meet to Greet programme at a city hotel. The event brought together esteemed Principals from various schools to discuss and share insights on holistic learning and development. It also featured a discussion on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and its implications for schools.
The event was also attended by Sandip Banerjee, eminent academic administrator and columnist.

The objective of the programme was to provide a platform for principals to share their experiences, best practices, and challenges in implementing holistic learning and development in their schools. The programme also aimed to facilitate a discussion on the NEP 2020 and its potential impact on the education sector.
The event focussed on the importance of holistic learning and development for the overall growth and well-being of the students. It also focussed on developing cognitive, emotional, social and physical skills among students.

At the meet, the Principals highlighted on the importance of working together to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the holistic development of students.

This apart, the mental wellness of teachers, parents and students were also discussed at the meet as well as the need of special educators for specially-abled students were also discussed at the event.

The discussions and interactions I had with fellow principals have given me valuable insights into creating a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.
