One of our very talented winners Anirban Roy, a class 7 student from Don Bosco School, Liluah, Howrah is such an individual possessing the skill.

Throwing light on his win Anirban added “I am extremely grateful to my school for nominating me for this prestigious award show by The Telegraph Online Edugraph. On the final award day I was extremely nervous seeing so many talented people around and was praying to God for my name to be under the 18 winners category. I believe witnessing people speaking so confidently I also became a little fearless that day and hence was able to speak confidently in my post win shoot”.

Playing musical instruments from a young age builds patience, trust, and confidence along with improving the verbal memory, literacy, and spatial thinking of the growing children. In the contemporary world’s fast moving space it goes without saying that children come out to be the best when served better. This 13-year-old flautist has shown his magic at different competitions throughout the country.

“My ultimate goal in life is to become the best flute player and 18 under 18 awards by The Telegraph Online Edugraph has motivated me greatly and now my dreams have reached a new level. Also, in the future I plan to become a lawyer. Accordingly, keeping both in consideration I balance my studies and flute playing together in good manner” said Anirban.

A Bharat Ratna HS Subhalaxmi scholar, Anirban is dedicated to growing his medal collection. He has already won competitions like Master Madan Award, Kalki Gaurav Award, Sama Bal Puraskar, Zee Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and more.

“I do not believe in compromising with my studies as they are extremely important as well. However, with this believe I also feel my musical world needs me as well. Hence, during exam period I cut short my “Rehas” time to focus on studies. After this win I also feel I have learnt cooperation and balancing together which helps me to keep my focus intact", concluded Anirban.
